Combat Effective Pistol
Most gun owners can hit a target at a lane. That’s a start — but it’s not a complete skill set.
Combat Effective Pistol is a small-group, outdoor range class designed to build the skills that matter when it counts: drawing under pressure, shooting from cover, clearing malfunctions without thinking, and engaging multiple targets after your heart rate is already up.
No marksmanship competitions. Just practical, repeatable skills you can’t develop standing at an indoor lane.
Basics of Pistol Shooting
If you are applying for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License, state law requires proof of firearms competency — including live fire observed by a qualified instructor.
This course satisfies that requirement.
You will complete classroom instruction first, followed by a scheduled live-fire session at the range to fulfill Florida’s training standards. The live-fire session will be scheduled one on one at the training.
